Augeo Family Estate Melnik 55 2016 is the only Bulgarian wine to win a medal from the prestigious competition International Wine Challenge 2018. Our wine received a Commended Winner medal. The win brought not only joy, positive emotions and brand awareness abroad, but also fame for Bulgarian wine abroad.
IWC was organized for 34 years without a break. The participants are some of the best international wines for the year. The bottles are completely during the blind tasting hidden in order to avoid any biases. After the international jury tastes the wines in three separate occasions, they give their points for the quality of the wine. Only then it becomes clear who are the medalist wines in a total of 5 categories.
Augeo Melnik 55 is participating in two other competitions, one in China and one in Japan in January 2018, and the results are expected in early February.
