• Augeo Mavrud with a Silver Medal at Decanter

    Augeo Family Estate Mavrud Reserve 2016 won a silver medal at the largest wine competition in the world Decanter. With 90 points our mavrud received a medal among over 16 500 participating wines from 57 countries. Decanter takes place in England for the 16th time. The international jury was comprised of 280 members from 30 countries, including 70 Masters of Wine and 23 Master Sommeliers.
    According to the rules of the prestigious competition, the wines with silver medals are ones who fit the following definition “A very accomplished wine, with impressive complexity”. Augeo Mavrud Reserve impressed the jury and received its distinction deservedly.

  • Premiere for Augeo Rose 2018

    In mid-May Augeo Family Estate 2018 will have its premiere. It is the first wine from the 2018 vintage in Augeo’s portfolio. It is a blend between the typical Bulgarian variety Shiroka Melnishka Loza 80% and Syrah 20%. It has a clear light pink color and balanced floral and fruity aromas of blossoming flowers, raspberries, strawberries and red fruits. The wine has a medium body, high acidity and succulence. The taste is dominated by red fruits like strawberries and raspberries. White cherries, ripe apples, pears and peach notes could be discovered as well. It has a fresh and long finish. This wine was produced in a limited series of 2565 bottles. You will find it in specialized shops and wine bars after May 20th. Augeo Rose 2018 is a great choice for the summer. Taste it!

  • Augeo Red Blend with a Silver medal ‎

    Augeo Family Estate Red Blend Reserve 2015 received a silver medal at Concours Mondial de ‎Bruxelles 2019. In the 26th edition of this prestigious competition participated 9 150 wines from 46 ‎countries. They were judged by 340 international jury members. The competition, often called the ‎Mondial of Wine, is travelling and takes place in a different country each year. The host-city in 2019 ‎was Aigle in Switzerland.‎
    This year the Bulgarian wines again brought reasons of pride as our country is among producing ‎counties like Spain, France in Italy in the Top 10 countries by number of medals. ‎
    The silver medalist Augeo Family Estate Red Blend Reserve 2015 is a blend between 50% Cabernet ‎Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 15% Melnik 55. The grapes were grown biologically in the Struma Valley.‎
